The resources within this website have been designed to be utilised within classrooms to assist students in technologies education. There are separate tabs above to clearly separate each resource, and also a separate teacher's page to give teachers the information and resources they require to successfully implement these resources into the classroom. 

The first resource is designed for the Design and Technologies aspect of the Australian Curriculum.

It is designed for a year 4 classroom and is based on the content descriptions:

  • Investigate food and fibre production and food technologies used in modern and traditional societies (ACTDEK012).

  • Select and use materials, components, tools, equipment and techniques and use safe work practices to make designed solutions (ACTDEP016).

 

The second resource is designed for the Digital Technologies aspect of the Australian Curriculum.

It is designed for a year 5 classroom and is based on the content descriptions:

  • ​Examine how whole numbers are used to represent all data in digital systems (ACTDIK015).

  • Plan, create and communicate ideas and information, including collaboratively online, applying agreed ethical, social and technical protocols (ACTDIP022).
